Hypnotherapy combined with talking therapy - exactly my method at The Little Hypno - is about helping you find calm so we can create the change you need.

 

Your sessions, which can be in-person in my offices in Malton or online via Zoom, will help you understand your situation, the positive and negative aspects, as well as the solutions you need to move forward.

 

The hypnosis itself - making up around fifty-percent of each session you'll attend - is just a process of relaxation, which will allow your mind to be more responsive to suggestions. All with the focus of helping you make positive and lasting change.

  • Why hypnotherapy?
    Hynotherapy is a scientifically-proven form of therapy that facilitates a re-wiring of the brain to help make long-lasting change. The success rates of hypnotherapy can often be much greater than other forms of therapy and in shorter time-frames, and it's a perfect way to make a shift when you're feeling stuck.
  • How many sessions will I need?
    The number of sessions you'll need will be dependent upon what you're looking for and the goals you're working towards. Generally-speaking, eight to ten sessions tends to be the norm for most people I work with. If you're looking for help quitting smoking or vaping, normally you'll only need one session, and if you're looking for help with a phobia, this will normally be four sessions.
  • How do the sessions work?
    Once you've had a free consultation with me, we'll book your first session which will last approximately 45 minutes (subsequent sessions will be around 60 minutes). We'll begin by discussing the positives about your present and your future, your goals, and how you'll reach them. The hypnotherapy will then guide you into a deep state of relaxation, enabling the subconscious - the part of your brain you don't generally have much control of which drives your automatic processes and actions - to relax and help you make choices about the way you react to situations. Despite what you might have previously seen or learned about hypnosis, you'll be fully in control throughout the entire process.
  • How much do sessions cost?
    Your first initial 20-miniute chat - with zero expectations - is totally free. If you decide to book sessions, individual sessions are £60 for 60 minutes. For a two-hour stopping-smoking session, I charge £150.
